Cross-sector conversations building the peer networks and shared understanding that outlast any single programme.
The Leadership Dialogue Series is MLI's cross-sector convening programme — bringing together students, practitioners, civic leaders, academics, and emerging professionals for structured conversations on leadership, governance, civic life, and the forces shaping the contexts they lead in.
The best leadership networks are not built through casual connection — they are built through structured, substantive conversation that creates genuine understanding across sectors, generations, and perspectives. The Dialogue Series is how MLI builds and sustains its cross-sector community.
Each session is professionally facilitated, thematically curated, and deliberately cross-sectoral — pairing participants who would not ordinarily be in the same room. Sessions are published as short thought leadership summaries, creating a growing body of insight that positions MLI as a credible convener at the intersection of leadership, civic life, and practical development.
Open to a curated invitation list that includes MLI alumni, partner organisations, civic leaders, practitioners, academics, and emerging professionals. Each session is intentionally cross-sectoral and cross-generational.
Series format — typically 4–6 sessions per year. Each session runs 90 minutes, is professionally facilitated, and follows a structured dialogue format. Sessions are recorded and published as written summaries on the MLI website. Free to attend.
Whether you are a prospective participant, a school or institution interested in hosting the programme, or an organisation considering partnership — we would love to hear from you.
